The "Bain d'Images" idea is very interesting. The article is saying we're in a world filled with pictures and videos that affect how we think and feel. I haven’t really thought about it this way but it makes sense as TVs, the internet, movies, and ads are always showing us things all the time. The reading talks about how our time now is more about seeing things than just reading or writing. It's like we're in a "picture world" where understanding things visually is very important. Even though we see so many pictures every day, most of us don't really realize how much they influence us. The reading talks about how tricky it is to really understand these pictures. It's not just about looking at them, it's about thinking deeply about what they mean and how they affect us. It's kind of like learning a new language but instead of words, it's just about understanding images. The part about kids being really familiar with pictures makes sense. We grow up surrounded by screens and pictures. But just because we see them a lot doesn't mean we know how to really understand them. That's why the reading talks about how schools should teach us more about looking at pictures in a smart way, not just seeing them. Understanding it better could help us be smarter about what we see and how it shapes our thoughts.
