For this project, I have two concepts that I want to try to explore. I discovered a way to create a projector within blender and want to try to figure out a way to use this in a 3D animation somehow. I want to create a dark room with a figure doing some sort of animation like a dance and the projector playing a video over them. I would like to have lots of volumetrics to show the path of the projection better. The other concept I have for this project is to create one of those “satisfying” animations using physics and try to get better at using rigid body simulations. My idea for this concept was to have several rolling balls moving down a tube onto a ramp, and then landing into a tube. I want to play around with making interesting textures for both the ramp and the moving balls. I haven’t done too much with rigid body simulations so I’m not sure how difficult this will be, but I have seen many similar videos online and want to try to create something similar.
