For this project, I wanted to create animations based off trippy visuals and abstract shapes and colors. My idea so far is to have a fake drug trip sequence using a small piece of paper. To start off, the actor would be in a bathroom looking into the mirror. After a few seconds, they would reach down and pick up a piece of tin foil and unwrap it. Inside would be a small piece of construction paper. They would look at the paper for a few moments and then put it on their tongue. After a few more seconds, they would look around the room and then down at their hand. After looking at their hand for a few more seconds, the animation would start. The beginning of the animation would be a transition from the real hand into an animated one using adobe animate. For the animation, I want to have many different abstract visuals and fractals as well as more real elements such as the hand. I want to make the hand warp in weird ways and eventually transition into something else but I haven’t decided what yet. After this sequence continues for a little while, the animation will transition back into the real world and the actor could either be passed out or still looking at their hand. This part would be very short and would end after just a few seconds. Here are some of the images I found that inspired the ideas for this project.
