I’ve been having a pretty hard time figuring out effect house but I’m getting the hang of it. My plan is to create a series of halloween filters in Blender. I tried to make an animation of a spider crawling across somebody’s face but I found that it's very hard to translate certain things from Blender into effect house. I think it's because I was using too many different curves and parented objects but I’m not sure. I also tried to use a few simulations in Blender and that also didn’t translate well (which I was warned about but still wanted to try anyways). Another issue I’ve had is keeping everything to very small file sizes when I export them from Blender as I keep accidentally making things way too detailed which I’ve learned does not work at all for AR. I’m restarting and planning to make a ghost in Blender using a cloth simulation. I also want to make a scarecrow and have both of these effects with fully body tracking. I want each of the effects to have a full immersive background as well and I’m planning to use Midjourney AI to generate these background images. Overall, I’m really excited about this project as I love using Blender and I’m hoping to get a little better at using effect house.
